Directions & Ferry Schedule
The directions to get to Drummond Island are:
- Take I-75 North across Mackinaw Bridge
- 17 miles North of the Bridge on I-75, turn East on M-134
- Take M-134 East into DeTour Village (42 miles)
- Turn right two blocks past the first blinker light
- The Ferry is down 1/4 mile.
- The Ferry leaves DeTour Village on the 1/2 hour, every hour, with a somewhat reduced schedule for the winter.
- Once on Drummond Island, follow the main road 8 miles, to the blinking light.
- At the blinking light intersection, turn left onto Townline Road. Go 1-1/2 miles to the 4-Way Stop. Turn left onto Pine/Maxton Road.
- Go 200 yards to the drive in the wooded lot on your right.
- Turn right on the drive into the wooded lot, the chalet is at the end of the driveway.
